TiVo sells a product that is 100% compatible with cable cards and tuning adapters and every provider who uses QAM is fully capable of supporting them. Spectrum is DECIDING not to. That’s not TiVos fault nor responsibility to inform you.

Jun 3, 2021 · The Tivo Stream does not include a over-the-air tuner. Locals can be viewed via a pay service such as Youtube TV, Hulu Live. Locast is donation based and provides locals in major markets. Sound like they need a digital tuner or Tivo DVR if in fact they have a Vizio monitor instead of a television.

Nov 20, 2024 · You will need an RF modulator to sit between your cable box and the Tivo. So it will be Coax -> Cable Box -> RF Modulator -> Tivo ANT input. You will set the RF modulator to Chan 3/4, turn your Tivo to that channel, and whatever channel the cable box is on will be shown. If you have an active Tivo subscription than the channel guide will work.

Nov 12, 2018 · The TiVo signal strength screen should show you the actual digital channel (they incorrectly call it the "frequency") along with the display channel number. Since you see both the old and new channel listings in the guide, all you should need to do to fix this problems is to UN-check the first one in the channel list.

Without a cablecard a TiVo for cable model can continue to use its streaming apps, which are not considered very good at all and are extremely limited. TiVo models that support cable and OTA can be used with antenna, without a cablecard, obviously.
