Jul 14, 2020 · FWIW PCLinuxOS is still kicking ass and taking names I mean it rocks and it's awesome. If you want a stable Linux distro PCLinuxOS is a good one based on my actual real world use. Figured I'd report back and let it be known how well it is working for me.

Jul 22, 2022 · PCLinuxOS is an okay distro and for the most has always worked on most every desktop I've used it on OOTB. PCLinuxOS is a hands on distro with none of the bells and whistles that the mainstream distros come with. You update it manually using the terminal. I've never seen any proprietary graphics card drivers.

Oct 11, 2017 · PCLinuxOS is far easier to install and use than most distros, but isn't dumbed down like Ubuntu and Mint. I only use PCLinuxOS and Puppy Linux on all my personal and work computers, along with Windows 10. I am active on the PCLOS forum and post there when I need answers or can help out a user. LNXGUY

Jul 24, 2021 · In addition to Windows 11, I have OpenSuse & PcLinuxOS installed, and I want PcLinuxOS to dominate as the bootloader. Supposedly you can use "sudo update-grub" to organize the bootloader. I can't use "sudo" in this distribution & can't install it!a

Dec 1, 2020 · PCLinuxOS will connect to my router on initial boot then drops out after 10min or, it won't connect at all. It shows my adapter but does not show SSIDs. One time I was able to manually enter the SSID and passkey, it connected then dropped out after 5min.
