Khan Academy offers comprehensive Calculus 1 resources including lessons, practice problems, and videos for students to learn at their own pace.

AP Calculus BC covers Calculus 1 and 2 and is more rigorous. Differential and Integral Calculus are two different types of calculus. Multivariable Calculus, Differential Equations, and Linear Algebra are very advanced courses that are taken after Calculus 1 and 2.

Jul 16, 2024 · The names can be a bit confusing, but Calc 1 and AB are roughly equivalent, as are Calc 2 and BC. The main difference is that the AP courses are strictly mapped to College Board's AP exam requirements.

The Calculus 1 course currently has 367 videos with a total runtime of about 37 hours. So at minimum it would take 37 hours just to watch all of the video content. There's also many exercises that go along with the videos, so you will need to factor that into your schedule as well.

I'd recommend taking Get Ready for AP Calculus first - try the course challenge once or twice, get mastery credit for the skills you know, and identify what you don't know. If you get an 80-90% on that course, perhaps move on to either Calculus 1 or AP Calculus AB first?

Feb 8, 2024 · Khan Academy has like 5 different Calc 1 courses, so it's confusing. Calculus AB/BC will not prepare you for…anything. Well, except Calc 1 in college, maybe—everybody in my Calc 1 class took Calc AB or BC in high school, and in a class of 300 the average grade 2/3 of the way into the course was 68%.

The AP Calculus AB course and the normal Calculus 1, 2, and Differential and Integral Calculus courses on Khan Academy cover essentially the same topics of single variable calculus.
