Specs are : 4300u AMD Processor 16gb 2666mhz ram 256gb sata ssd samsung 870 Installed latest Manjaro LTC on it without any issues and it runs very well. I was amazed that such a small machine completely covers all needs.

Jul 18, 2021 · The Akasa Turing A50 is spec'd for 25W TDP. The PN50 can be brought way above (50W is the absolute maximum). So if you use the PN50's default TDP settings, edge die temp should vary between 33C (idle) to 60C (high load). Thus you won't reach thermal throttling.

Nov 20, 2020 · I have the PN50 4500U with 2 x 8GB 3200 CL22 RAM running in ' Quiet mode'. I ran Cinebench R23 and got 1132 single core and 3787 multi core. The multicore test peaks towards 95 degrees and then drops towards 80, some thermal throtteling seems to happen.

Feb 13, 2021 · New PN50 purchase, runs great except when I cold boot = no video present after the Asus bios splash screen. Fix = Shut down w/ pwr button, disconnect power at the the A/C outlet, boot = all good now.

All pcs are fully updated to latest 417 asus Bios running windows 10 pro, 16gb ram and 500 Samsung 970 nvme. 2 pn50 are 4700U model and 1 is 4500U. One R7 PN50 issue is that the screen flickers. Randomly my dell screen will flicker.
